Red Roofs raised £170 for its residents’ fund last month when Trish and her team opened the doors to the local community for their annual summer fair.
We’d like to give a huge well done and a big thank you to everyone who helped to organise the event. All the Red Roofs residents and families thoroughly enjoyed themselves and spent some great quality time together!

The staff organised a host of activities for their guests to enjoy, including a raffle, sweet stall and even a live singing performance. Our wonderful and dedicated chef, Marilyn, also treated those attending to afternoon tea favourites which included delicious jam and cream scones.
The team regularly organises activities which centre around socialising with families as well as people from the local community to boost residents’ well-being and mental stimulation. This can improve cardiovascular health, lower blood pressure and aid in maintaining independence along with helping to reduce the risk of dementia.
