Right across our Red Homes locations, we have been doing this for many years, and regularly communicating how we’re making a positive difference to our dear residents through social media, letters and newsletters.
Because of this, we have received a number of positive reviews, comments and feedback from families about the high standards of care we provide and how they can see that their loved ones are in the very best of hands.
Busy lives
However, during the busy lives that we now lead post Covid, we understand that taking time out of the day to do this is sometimes at the bottom of our list of things to do. But without these first-hand reviews, we know that we can only do so much.
We believe in open and honest communication, both ways, and actively encourage family members to talk to us in a variety of methods – by email, phone, face-to-face and via reviews. And it’s these reviews which are hugely important, via carehome.co.uk, Google or our social media platforms.
Reviews provide transparency, open and honest feedback and the sort of communication we need to continually improve what we do and how we operate.
Actively improving
As a care home group, we never want to be in a position where we aren’t actively improving what we do, whether that’s with our team members, our training, our menu choices, our activities, or our commitment to care.
Learning more, doing more and going the extra mile is at the core of how we think and how we work, and this is something that’s engrained into our loyal staff members. If we aren’t improving our levels of care each day, we’re not doing our job correctly.
Red Rose, Red Roofs and Red Court are all special homes, filled with laughter, love and the highest standards of care. We work incredibly hard to provide a safe and stimulating environment that genuinely feels like home for our residents, and importantly feels like a second home for loved ones.
Underpinning our care is always the reviews that we receive, and we would encourage anyone who has a family member staying with us to please write a review, because without this feedback, other families cannot make an informed decision and their loved ones will not reap the benefits that our professional standard of care provides.
