“It is a time to speak freely about everything – their time at the home, food quality, staff support, activity timetables and general enquiries, the list goes on. It is vital to involve them because this is their home and we want them to feel as though their voices are being heard. If there is anything that is highlighted during the meeting which needs to be rectified, the team will draw up an action plan to show how we will be remedying the issues raised. We are hoping that the residents’ meetings going forward will help make their experiences more memorable.”
