Red Homes supports staff and residents on World Mental Health Day

The theme of this year’s World Mental Health Day is: ‘Make mental health & wellbeing a global priority for all’. Red Homes have been at the forefront of looking after the well-being of our residents and staff – making it our mission to prioritise the mental health of everyone.

Red Homes Supports World Mental Health Day

World Mental Health Day is an annual event that is aimed at raising awareness on the importance of looking after mental health and well-being of each individual.

Organisations across the globe participate in events and discussions in the hope to improve mental health among their workforces.
Red Homes understands the importance of mental health for everyone, and recognise that the well-being of every individual is incredibly important. We strive to nurture and build a safe environment for our residents – helping them to lead a lifestyle that helps to promote strong mental health and wellbeing.

Each month, we organise an array of events for our lovely residents. These continuous activities help them to boost their morale and increase their overall participation. During September, we put on a selection of Mexican dishes and decorated our dining room in Mexican attire. Residents loved the event and had great fun trying new foods together.

Red Homes Supports World Mental Health Day

Each member of staff at Red Homes has been working tirelessly to look after our residents with our utmost care. Our group of residential and nursing homes aim to build a professional network that furthers the growth of our employees. The wellbeing of workers is at the heart of everything we do; the love and care for everyone in our homes resonate with our slogan: ‘Where People Matter’.

We understand the challenges faced by our staff, and how essential it is to help this cohort of passionate carers navigate through them. Red Homes provides a structured and flexible training programme that helps its staff to maintain their work-life balance.
Our carers represent a part of the community that is striving to care for the elderly and supports them to lead a comfortable way of life. Every individual joining our care homes undergoes a thorough and induction process. This allows them to work together toward a defined set of goals under the expert guidance of our care home management.

We are proud to support our employees and residents, in their quest to improve their wellbeing and mental health – a priority that is now needed more than ever.
